Jump Festa 2013 was just held last weekend, December 22-23 (Saturday and Sunday) at Makuhari Messe Convention Center in Japan. It was another surprising event for MegaHouse's POPs as they unleashed some new figure prototypes, show the painted/completed ones and made some announcements about prices and release dates. They also brought some non-POP One Piece MegaHouse products there, so let's gawk at these photos below.
POP Edition-Z - Nico Robin

POP Edition-Z - Sanji
The Film Z line-up continues with Sanji. Sanji's very dynamic pose for the first time in POP. Not very fitting though since he is wielding guns instead of flaming legs. Well, this is Film Z, so it had to be like this. Love that coat but the face seems a little weird. Anyway, since this is just an uncompleted prototype, let's wait and see how it would look like after the paint is applied.

POP Edition-Z LIMITED - Tony Tony Chopper (Mangart Beams T.)
The normal Edition-Z Chopper had already went up for preorder and was followed up with this Mangart Beams T. colorway. Not a very interesting one for me. Does anyone ever collects these Mangart Beams editions?

POP Sailing Again - Trafalgar Law
That was fast. SA Trafalgar Law already got painted and with a new alternate pose. I never thought he will be completed and released this early because he hasn't been shown yet in the anime like this. As expected, he looks bad-ass and fantastic. A perfection by MegaHouse I think.

POP LIMITED - Sadie-chan
She is now also got her colors. The paint colors and application looks nice but the proportion on the rib cage still looks weird for me. I have a mixed feeling about this one.
To be released on June 2013 for 8,190 yen. Preorders will start on 11th January 2013, and being a Limited POP, she is a Megatrea store exclusive. She could be ordered on some other stores though.
POP Neo-DX - Red Haired Shanks
Shanks now has an alternate pose and face expression. He was seen earlier with a serious face and a right arm holding the Straw Hat. This time he has an open mouth irritated expression and a right arm holding his sword. Nice to see him with new alternate display options but I'm not really digging this new face.

POP Neo-EX LIMITED - Edward Newgate ver. 0
I thought that there's something about the release of Gol D. Roger. This was already planned from the beginning to go along with Roger and Garp. It's really interesting to see POPs of their looks from 20 years ago. I'd like to see this series continue with young Rayleigh, Shanks, etc. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, check out Chapter 0 manga or the animated "One Piece Film Strong World: Episode 0". This is a must have for me, but the thing is this is another limited POP so price and availability is... well, unsure.

POP Neo-DX - Gol. D. Roger
Now this is GOLD... oh, I mean Gol. D. Roger. This is the most famous image of him and it's good to see that the POP can be displayed like this. A real Golden addition to anyone's POP collection. I've got to get me one of these.

POP Neo-DX Kalifa
Kalifa is now shown with soap bubbles effect parts and an alternate left arm. A nice touch for MegaHouse.

POP Sailing Again-Maximum LIMITED - Armored Franky
Some good news and some bad news. SA Franky is now shown with all of it's alternate parts, gadgets, gizmos and stuff. Shoulder cannon, rockets, tools, alternate hands, fingers, small hands, etc. The biggest and the most complicated POP ever to released by MegaHouse. And what makes it more complicated is that it is priced at 15,750 yen and it is now labeled as LIMITED. I can understand the pricing but being LIMITED?
Curse you MegaHouse for doing this. You made us get all the straw hats and then tease us with Franky from time to time. Now that he has become a completist dream, you made him LIMITED? What does that mean? Are you nuts? Yes, we admit that we are all nuts from falling into your trap but please, don't use this chance to get everyone mad at you. We need this badly so please made it available for everyone.
Well anyway, Blackbeard ver. 1.5 and Boa Hancock ver. Blue is also labeled as LIMITED but an international version is is made available on a lot of hobby shops. Let's hope Franky has the same distribution scheme and not like Garp ver. 0
To be released (finally) on July 2013 for 15,750 yen. That's about twice the price of an average limited edition POP. I'm gonna have to sacrifice something just to get him. Preoders starts on 15th February 2013.
POP Neo-EX LIMITED - Chopperman
If I'm getting one Chopperman, its going to be this one. But nah! I'm not. I'll just save for SA Franky.
POP Neo-Maximum - Eustass Kidd and POP Neo-DX - Killer
Coming this late December. This two will soon be on my display shelf.
